Charis — Greek for grace

Nothing leaves your device unless you say so.

CharisTools is a small set of free, local-first iOS apps — a PDF editor and a TV remote so far. No accounts, no cloud relays, no ads. Just tools that do the one thing they promise, on the device you already have.

The approach

The same rule, applied twice.

✓No accounts, ever
✓No cloud relay — devices talk directly, or nothing leaves the phone at all
✓No ads, no analytics
✓Free or free-core — no subscription grind
✓Local-first — nothing uploaded unless you choose to
✓Built and maintained by one person

The name

Charis is Greek for grace.

Grace shows up here as restraint: each app does the one thing it promises, asks for nothing extra, and leaves you in control of your own data.
