You must accept this before using CharisPDF.
CharisPDF is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
PDF files are complex. Edits may fail, look wrong, omit content, or corrupt a file. Signatures, redaction, and form fills may not be legally or technically sufficient for your purpose.
You are solely responsible for your documents and for how you use this app. That includes:
The developer cannot access your files and cannot undo a mistake you make, recover a file you overwrite, or verify a signature or redaction for you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer, contributors, and distributors of CharisPDF are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, or cost arising from your use of the app or from any document you create or change with it. This includes lost data, lost profits, business interruption, failed contracts, privacy incidents on your device or your cloud, and third-party claims.
If a court finds any part of this disclaimer unenforceable, the rest still applies, and any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you paid for the app (zero, because CharisPDF is free).
Apple, iCloud, other apps, printers, and any AI agent you connect are outside the developer’s control. Their failures or their use of data you send them are not the developer’s responsibility.
By using CharisPDF you confirm that you have read the Privacy Statement and this Disclaimer, that you understand the developer has no access to your data, and that you accept full responsibility for your documents.
This is a product notice, not legal advice. You may wish to have your own counsel review it before you rely on the app for important documents.
