Applies to the CharisPDF app on iPhone and iPad.
The developer of CharisPDF has no access to your documents or other personal data. We do not operate a CharisPDF account, cloud, or document server. We cannot open, recover, search, or read the files you edit.
You are in control of where files live: on this device, in a location you pick in Files, or in your iCloud Drive / other cloud if you put them there. Those services are run by Apple or that provider, not by us.
CharisPDF opens and edits PDF files on your device. Processing is local.
On this device the app stores: which version of this statement you accepted; your last text and shape styles; and up to 10 custom text snippets you saved in Settings. Those values stay on this device. They are not your PDF files. We do not receive them.
The app is a general productivity tool. We do not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this statement changes in a way that affects what we collect or share, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. Platform corrections (for example which Apple devices the app runs on) do not re-prompt. The version you accepted is stored only on this device.
